What is Supportive Housing?
Supportive Housing Programs help people with mental health disabilities to find, get and keep housing in their community of choice. These Programs provide housing support and education, connect individuals to needed financial, advocacy, and legal resources, and provide direct skills teaching on issues which affect the person’s ability to maintain their tenancy. If they choose, participants may also be referred for other services that support mental health recovery.
